Skill Tracer

How this is made

Copied with permission

Skills are copied from their authors' public repositories, and only where the licence allows it. Licences are checked skill by skill, and every skill page shows its licence.

Read by a model

A model reads each skill and writes the notes, the links between skills, the collection summaries and the techniques. The models used so far: Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Sonnet 5.5, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash. Each collection and skill page says which model read it and when.

Drafted by a model

A model writes the short description of each collection, the reasons to read it, and its techniques.

Quotes are checked

A program checks that every quote really is on the line it cites. That proves the quote exists, not that the note about it is right.

A spot check

A sample of 72 links was checked against the skill text by a second AI model, not by a person: 53 were right, 11 acceptable and 8 wrong. Most wrong ones came from ordinary words that match a skill's name.

Which version

Each collection is read at one commit of its repository, named with its date at the foot of the collection's page. The notes don't follow the authors' later changes until the collection is pulled and read again.

Quotes from people

Quotes from people are picked by hand, and each one links to where it was said.

Visits are counted

Google Analytics counts visits to these pages, such as which pages are read and which links are followed.
